About Me

Hi! I’m Lisa. I’m happy you’re here.
Combining my love of nature with my artistic curiosities makes me happy! I hope that I can inspire you to get “out there”, enjoy nature, and bring its qualities home with you!

I have had a deep sense of awe and connection with nature since childhood, caught on film at 2 years old, chasing my grandmother around the backyard with a worm.
As I got older I could often be found wandering the wooded acres behind the house whenever I could.

I still wander the woods whenever I get a chance. It’s my go-to place where there are no deadlines, no clock-watching, no technology intruding on my mind.
These days, you’ll see me carrying along my field bag with a sketchbook, pencil, and maybe a few watercolors that I use to capture that forest ‘magic’. I find that Nature Journaling helps me to understand a bit more each time I draw something that’s captured my attention.
